OLD TOWN PLAYHOUSE

POLICY FOR JOURNALS ON
OLDTOWNPLAYHOUSE.COM

There exists, within the OTP web page, an opportunity for cast and crew members to share their theatre experiences with other interested parties. You are invited to compose a journal of your own experiences for the show in which you are currently participating or for which you have just auditioned. The following guidelines are accepted as the OTP policies and procedures for submission and inclusion of such journals. It is our intent that these guidelines are easy to meet and fair to all journalists.

Your journal may contain any information pertinent to your experience with the production, however, it may not contain any potentially objectionable language (including more common words such as damn and hell), any personal attacks on another person or any political views and statements. Your journal may be submitted in any format and written in any tense, as long as the above conditions are met.

All content will be reviewed by the web-page administrator (Don Kuehlhorn) and/or the OTP Executive Director (Phil Murphy ). If your material is deemed to not conform to the guidelines, it will be returned to you with suggestions for rewrite. Non-conforming entries will not be published.

You may appeal a "decline to publish" decision by bringing your appeal to the Board of Artistic Director’s meeting. A BAD decision will be the final decision.

Your journal will reside on the OTP web page and remain active until at least two (2) days following the close of the production. You may continually add to your journal throughout this active time. Once made inactive, the journal will be archived and no additional changes to content will be allowed.
