1981    "Caberet" Director: Jeanette Mason. Garry Garrison was the emcee, Mark Williams replaced the originally cast Mike Gorman as Cliff  Bradshaw, Jan Campbell (Fisher) was Sally Bowles, Tim Koch made his  final OTP appearance as the Jewish Herr Schultz, Bev Attwood was Fraulein Schneider, Bridget Kilpatrick was Fraulein Kost, Mike Norton was Ernst Ludwig, Sue Hitchens and Leslie Light were the two ladies, and the Kit Kat girls included Carlene Saints (Peregrine) and Diane Hubert.
1983    "The School for Scandal" Director Mel Mrochinski's final OTP show. Cast included Betty Gordon, Jim Rink, Rick Korndorfer (his last show  for more than a decade), Hedges Macdonald, Bryan Crough, Galen and Susan Kurth, Gil Anderson, Jill Beauchamp, Pat Blashill, Lynell Simpson.
1984    "Macbeth" Director: Jeanette Mason. OTP debuts of Frank Sisson (King Duncan) and John Kelly (a Scottish doctor). Edward Catton was Macbeth, Todd Breaugh (Malcom), Bob Allen (Banquo), Mike Nunn (Macduff), Debra Hilbert (Lady Macduff), Diane Hubert and Nan Worthington (witches),  Steve Morse (the porter), Mak Smith,Gil Anderson, Mary (MaryScott) O'Connor, Hedges Macdonald, Tom Olkkonen, Jeff Curtis, Maureen McCarthy.  During one Friday performance there was a blackout in downtown Traverse City. Pauline Tyer came on stage and played guitar while we waited to see if our show could continue. We eventually made it up on a Wednesday.
1986    "Applause" Nancy Sundstrom's directing debut. Bev Attwood was Margo Channing and Mary O'connor played Margo's understudy, Eve Harrington. Mary was a high school senior at the time. Steve Morse was given an unusually short haircut for his role as producer Howard Benedict. Mike Nunn played Buzz Richards and Tom Schill was Bill Sampson. Others: Bart Ingraham, Ed Blackburn, Chris Smith, Kendra Lutes, Lisa Keissel,  Judy Heffron, Hedges Macdonald, Terri Heffron, Mike Blashill and Judy   Hill (lead gypsy).
1987    "Amadeus" Director: Steve Stafford. Mike Blashill had the title role.   Tom Schill was Salieri. Cast included Thom Wagner, Terri Heffron, Bryan Crough, Betty Wilette, Hyler Whitney.1988     "Antony and Cleopatra" Director: Steve Stafford. Don Kuehlhorn's debut
    as Marc Antony. Anne Marie Oomen was Ceopatra. Marguerite Cotto also debuted as Cleo's handmaiden.
1989     "Bus Stop" Director: Jeanette Mason. Nicole Ghastin in the role made  famous by Marilyn Monroe. At the same time, Terri Heffron and Denni Hunting went to NMC and (under Steve Stafford's direction) did "Agnes of God".
1990    "The Merchant of Venice" Director: Jeanette Mason. Steve Morse was Shylock
1991    "Les Liasons Dangereuses" Director: Guy Molnar. Matt McCormick and Sam Clark had leading roles. Matt and Joanne Dodd had OTP's first simulated     nude scene.
1993   "Cyrano de Bergerac"  Director: Robert Roush. Robert Van Coolie's OTP Debut. Tom Czarny was Cyrano and MaryScott O'Connor was Roxana. Others: Bryon Kuhlman, Ed Steiger, David Struble, George Hunting, Brad Lerschen, Mike Carney, Deb Bolton(her first too).
1994    "The Glass Menagerie"  Director: Tom Bewley.
1995    " The Importance of Being Ernest" 
1996    "Luck" in the studio. John Kelly directed 2 one acts - "Molly and James" and "Purgatory". Cindy Leo was in the cast.
1998    " Rosenstrasse" Terry Lawrence directed her original script about the holocaust.  Amoung the cast members were Cinder Conlon, Kelly Curtis, Cari Burke, Lindsay Campbell, Mike Carney, Tom Czarny, Joshua Reed, John and Jukia Brabanec.
The following year this production competed at CTAM with some cast changes. One newcomer, Jeff Curtis, won an acting award.
1999   Checkov's "The Cherry Orchard". Directors: John Hoffman, Mike Carney. A Studio production, performed in NMC's little theater in the Science building. It found itself competeing with the revived "Rosenstrasse" for the actors. The final cast included Doug Grant, Susan McConnell, Brandon Bartkowiak, David Struble, Hedges MacDonald, Caitlin Prentiss. Jessica Coulter and Molly McCord did their only OTP parts(Molly's mom, Pat had nbeen in " South Pacific" in 1984), and Wendy Kalush debuted, replacing Lisa Drake. The show was taped and broadcast by TVTC2.
2000    "Charley's Aunt" in the Studio. Director: Don Kuehlhorn. Pat Cotner, who will be remembered as the gay Puerto Rican in "A Chorus Line" last year, plays a lead part. A bit of gender switching was also done with the character of Brasset, lwhich is being played by Mollie Thompson. Mike Carney goes from playing bannister in "Inherit the Wind" to portraying Spettique.

We Welcome Gill Anderson back to OTP. During the 1983-84 season he appeared in several shows and worked on numerous sets. He returns int he role of Caiaphas in our spring production "Jesus Chrit Superstar".
