Donna Lucia gets those low down blues
February 3, 2000
Wednesday night rehearsal. A disaster for moi. The director was speaking rather loudly. Down right yelling and it's rather shocking especially when he does it to point out ones obvious screw-ups! Wellll, I guess moi won't be trying a different blocking on her own after THAT dressing down! This is a new experience for me, I'm usually the one doing the yelling. Yes my friends, Suzanne is really and truly keeping her mouth shut for once and listening. Talk about a monumental feat.
However my main problem is that I'm just all shook up over the blocking for one scene we just learned and I thought I knew my lines for that scene, but now that I'm doing the scene the lines just popped right out of my head and seem to have gotten lost, probably rolling around on the floor somewhere!!! (Frustration always makes me resort to run-on sentences so bear with me.) Oh well, chin up, chest out, and smile like the financial genius millionaire I'm playing.
Yours emotionally exhausted and afraid she's getting sick,
Suzanne & Cassis (I curl up on her bed at night to make her feel better!)
